Rave Jersey
Rave Jersey: A rave jersey is a sports-style jersey (typically baseball, hockey, or crop cut) printed with bold all-over festival graphics, worn as outerwear at electronic music events for visibility, breathability, and crew identity.
Originating from streetwear customization culture in the late 2010s, rave jerseys replaced classic festival tees as the dominant top layer at events like EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and Ultra Music Festival. They typically use 200gsm sublimation-printed polyester or mesh, with double-stitched seams to survive the pit. Festival Jersey

Ultra Music Festival
Ultra Music Festival: Ultra Music Festival is an annual outdoor electronic music festival held in Miami each March, considered the season-opening event of the global EDM calendar.
Founded in 1999, Ultra spans three days at Bayfront Park and has spawned a global circuit (Ultra Europe, Ultra Korea, Resistance). The Miami flagship is famous for waterfront stages and live broadcasts.
Beyond Wonderland
Beyond Wonderland: Beyond Wonderland is an Insomniac-produced electronic music festival series themed after Alice in Wonderland, with editions on the West Coast, Gorge Amphitheatre, and Chesapeake Bay.
Beyond Wonderland is known for its surrealist art installations and DJ lineups blending bass, trance, and house. Outfits skew towards fantastical, kandi-heavy, UV-reactive looks.
Electric Forest
Electric Forest: Electric Forest is a four-day electronic and jam-band festival held in Rothbury, Michigan each June, set in a literal illuminated forest.
Known for its blend of EDM, livetronica (The String Cheese Incident headlines), and immersive forest installations, Electric Forest attracts a fashion-forward crowd. Outfits combine flowy festival staples with custom jerseys for visibility.
Coachella
Coachella: Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is a two-weekend music festival held in Indio, California each April, blending EDM, indie, hip-hop, and pop.
Coachella is the highest-grossing music festival in the United States and a major fashion event. While not exclusively EDM, the Sahara Tent and Yuma stage host major dance music acts each year.
PLUR
PLUR: PLUR — Peace, Love, Unity, Respect — is the foundational ethos of rave culture, codified in the 1990s and still cited as the community's core code of conduct.
PLUR is exchanged ritualistically via the kandi handshake (peace hand sign → heart → high-five → finger-link). Many rave jerseys, accessories, and crew designs reference PLUR explicitly.
Kandi
Kandi: Kandi are handmade beaded bracelets traded between ravers via the PLUR handshake — a wearable form of community and friendship.
Kandi range from simple single-strand bracelets to elaborate cuffs and full sleeves ("kandi armor"). They're part of the rave outfit lexicon, often paired with custom jerseys, fishnets, and bikini tops.
Dye Sublimation
Dye Sublimation: Dye sublimation is a printing process that uses heat to bond dye into polyester fibers, producing all-over prints that don't crack, fade, or peel.
Sublimation is the standard for rave and festival jerseys because it produces vivid all-over prints integrated into the fabric — the print becomes part of the jersey, not a layer on top. RaveJersey produces every jersey via sublimation on 100% polyester.
Crew Jersey

EDM
EDM: EDM (Electronic Dance Music) is an umbrella term for percussive, beat-driven electronic music genres including house, techno, dubstep, trance, drum & bass, and bass music.
EDM became a mainstream commercial genre in the early 2010s with the rise of "big room" festival headliners. The term is often used interchangeably with "rave music," though purists distinguish underground rave culture from commercial EDM.
All-Over Print (AOP)
All-Over Print (AOP): All-over print (AOP) means the print extends across the entire garment — front, back, and sleeves — without seams or borders breaking the artwork.
AOP is achieved via dye sublimation on cut-and-sew construction: each panel is printed flat, then sewn together, so the design wraps the body. It's the defining visual feature of modern rave jerseys.
UV-Reactive
UV-Reactive: UV-reactive (or "blacklight reactive") prints use fluorescent dyes that glow under ultraviolet light, common at festival stages and warehouse parties.
UV-reactive jerseys are a popular pick for night sets and immersive festivals like Beyond Wonderland and Nocturnal Wonderland where stages and tents use blacklights heavily.
